Aunt Jean’s Place

Aunt Jean’s Place is a transitional and emergency housing for individuals struggling with homelessness in the Stephenville area. They house people on a temporary basis who have no place to go, while they are looking for a place. Aunt Jean’s Place manages on the fee they charge for the person to stay (typically NLHC or a church who refers them), and donations from people in the community. Aunt Jean’s Place doesn’t receive any grant money to operate, and sometimes it’s difficult to keep making ends meet especially in the winter months when the electric bills rise.
